Back from Barcelona. Was a nice shoot, will tell you about it later. Now a new years party to say goodbye to the 00’s. Its been a good couple of years I think. For a recap in Swedish, read Anders book on it. Its very nice. Tomorrow, back to work.

on christmas
Spa, lunch, spa, sleep, spa, dinner, drinks, sleep, spa, breakfast. If ever in Stockholm. Grand Hotel with their new spa section comes highly recommended. Now, drinking wine and playing Skate 2 on the Xbox E gave me for christmas. Sweet. Tomorrow, off to the opera.
E (&E), happily dressed in Shriver from Rodebjer for christmas dinner. The only craving she has got is this seasons silk print.
on OMFG!
on cravings
I have had the same winter boots for three years now. A pair of Prada that I instantly fell in love with, even though I don’t usually buy that much of their shoes. They are perfect in every way, except for being very, very worn out. I take them to the guy who does all my shoes two times a year for fix ups, but last time he just looked at me with kind of sad eyes and shook his head. Not to despair though. These ones from the collaboration between Raf Simons and Dr Martens would be a worthy follow up. Only problem being they cant be bought in Sweden. So, if anybody from Dr Martens, or Raf Simons is listening, send me a pair of 8 1/2´s and Ill wear them until the end of days. Hell, Ill even throw in a couple of daily outfits on the blog!
on christmas
I’m not really into Christmas traditions and such. There is however one thing I do every year. The macarons. This years flavours: coffee, raspberry and hazelnut. Might be that I’m always missing Paris around Christmas. This year will be nice though as me and E are checking in to Grand Hotel. Rumour has it they have a new spa.
I was shooting a fashionstory on location the other day (yes, its bloody cold here), and borrowed an empty office nearby to make things easier. I opened the only cabinet left in the entire place and found this. What the f**k?
on a bit of fashion
Everything seems to be going in cycles. Lately I have been working a lot with models. Its funny how the ideas fuel one another. After shooting more fashion for a period I always start to think about how techniques or ideas would work when applied to still life, and then after a while it changes back the other way around. Constant motivation. In a way its the same with digital vs analogue. After trying something in Photoshop I realize, or learn, how to do that on film and in the darkroom. And after doing that somehow ends up back in Photoshop with new ideas.

on parties and moving images
Thank you CameraLink for that wonderful party last week. You are the greatest.
A piece of video from a shoot I did a while ago:
Tilda L at Stockholmsgruppen. Its funny what you can do with a compact camera these days (a small Leica).
Went to Linda Alfvegrens opening of her new exhibition at PUB.03. Very nice photographs. You should definitely go have a look if you are in Stockholm.
on sites, polaroids and such
Just updated my site, and the CameraLink portfolio. I’m contemplating writing a new site. Just have to find the time for it. I miss it sometimes, the code. It sort of belongs to coffee and sleepless nights though. No time for that now.

on NikeiD, Virginia & E.
Fashion meets literature meets streetwear. Erika was invited to design her own pair of sneakers with NikeiD. She went with a Virginia Woolf concept and did a pair of To the Lighthouse inspired ones. I love them! Hey Nike, can I have a pair to? And E love, send a picture to your old univerity professor in english lit, you deserve extra credits for this.
